Raisa Faatimah is a rising 2L at Michigan Law School where she is a DOW Sustainability Fellow. Prior to law school, Raisa worked in international development on several key issues including equitable vaccine delivery during the pandemic, clean energy access in under-resourced communities, and women’s economic empowerment. Raisa’s interest in corporate accountability is informed by her experiences as a Bangladeshi-American and her time working with human rights organizations in her home country. She is passionate about equitable development and corporate accountability, with a particular interest in labor rights in the global garments industry.
