Anushka Mishra is a rising 3L at Georgetown University Law Center where she is a RISE Fellow and a Human Rights Associates Program (HRAP) Scholar. Prior to law school, Anushka worked for the Deputy Ambassador at the Embassy of India in Washington, D.C.. Anushka has also worked for international human rights organizations in India and London on a variety of issues including modern slavery, police reform, access to legal aid, and advocating for prisoners’ rights.  Anushka’s interest in the Business and Human Rights field is rooted in her experiences growing up in India and is shaped by research assistant experiences in law school. Anushka holds a B.A. in Global and International Studies, with a concentration in Political Science from The College of Wooster.
